Meet Lee

Lee serves on staff as the Pastor for Preaching and Teaching at Grace Hill and was one of the founding pastors of Grace Hill. Before planting Grace Hill, Lee served as an associate pastor and senior pastor. Lee went to college at Methodist University where he majored in economics and played football. He graduated with his Master of Divinity in 2015 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also worked as a faculty research assistant. Lee also earned his doctorate in expository preaching from Southeastern where his work focused on preaching from the book of Leviticus. He completed additional studies in the theology of work and economics at Western Seminary and engaged in further studies at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Lee has also received training in homiletics through the Institute for Expository Preaching and participated in a pastoral cohort through the Society of Expository Preaching.

From serving as a missions strategist to sitting on an executive council, Lee has been afforded opportunities to serve other ministries in a variety of ways. Currently, Lee also serves on the Board of Directors and on the Church Planting Committee for the Baptist State Convention of NC. Lee has spoken at many conferences and has been recognized as a Notable Voice by a top Christian leadership podcast. He contributes as a writer at For the Church, a ministry of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Lee enjoys playing golf and cooking. He and his wife, Josanne, have two children (second child expected July 2023).
